The V2.TKA COMFORT heat-resistant coat by Coval Safety is designed for workers exposed to extreme thermal conditions: the use of aluminised fabric ensures high mechanical strength and an advanced reflective barrier against radiant heat and molten metal splashes (iron and aluminium), guaranteeing maximum safety without hindering movement during heavy-duty work.
Unlike other aluminised garments, the V2.TKA COMFORT model utilises the fabric’s intrinsic properties to be extremely robust and durable.
The ‘Comfort’ design is specifically engineered to be worn over other workwear, ensuring a loose fit that does not restrict movement.
Technical Features and Key Benefits:
- Full-length central fastening with flame-retardant Velcro: A secure barrier covering the entire length of the torso, easy to use and designed to withstand thermal stress.
- Fully lined high collar: A higher design with a flame-retardant Velcro fastening to protect the neck area, eliminating blind spots when exposed to heat.
- Flame-retardant Velcro strap with loop: Adjustable at the lower part of the wrist, it allows the sleeve to be sealed perfectly over the work glove. This feature prevents the accidental ingress of metal splashes or heat into the sleeve, adapting the garment to the operator’s build for a tailored fit.
The V2.TKA COMFORT coat is the ideal solution for use in foundries and steelworks (where there is exposure to molten iron and aluminium), in the iron and steel and metallurgical industries, as well as in glassworks and in the vicinity of high-temperature industrial furnaces.
