The V2.TKAF COMFORT aluminized coat is designed to provide a high level of protection during work activities involving intense heat, accidental flames, radiant heat and molten metal splashes. Its specific construction and roomier fit make it suitable for operators who require effective thermal protection without compromising comfort during work.
The garment is made of aluminized aramidic fabric and fully lined with flame-retardant cotton. The aluminized material helps reflect radiant heat, creating a protective barrier between the wearer and the heat source, while the inner flame-retardant cotton lining enhances comfort, softness and fit. The combination of these two materials provides the protective performance of aluminized fabric together with greater comfort during use.
The COMFORT version features a roomier fit designed to allow greater freedom of movement and make the coat practical even for activities requiring prolonged wear. The double front closure with black flame-retardant Velcro provides effective coverage of the front of the body.
The construction details are also designed to enhance protection and functionality. The flame-retardant Velcro strap with loop, adjustable at the lower wrist, allows the closure to be adapted to the wearer’s size. The fully lined collar, featuring a higher design and a flame-retardant Velcro closure, provides greater coverage of the neck area.
The seams made entirely with 50/3 Kevlar thread provide high resistance and reliability, completing the garment’s construction and making it suitable for work environments subject to significant thermal stress.
The V2.TKAF COMFORT aluminized coat is suitable for various industrial sectors, including foundries and metalworking, the glass industry and cement plants, as well as any activity where operators need protection from exposure to heat sources and accidental flames.
The F2 performance level according to EN ISO 11612:2015 provides high resistance to contact heat, contributing to operator safety in working conditions involving high heat exposure.
