Aramid 5-finger heat-resistant gloves S5MK/18
item: S5MK/18
The S5MK/18 five-finger heat-resistant gloves made of aramid seam knit lend themselves to multiple uses.
Thanks to their contact heat resistance of up to 350° for 24 seconds and up to 500° for 13 seconds, they are ideal for handling hot objects and for work in glassware.
They also provide high protection against perforation and cut risks in the most hazardous tasks in different sectors.
The main applications for this glove are therefore foundry and metalworking, iron and steel, the glass industry and any application where contact or radiant heat sources are approached.
Compared to traditional aramid gloves, S5MK/18 is extra soft thanks to its multi-layered aramid seam structure. This fibre, obtained by processing aromatic polyamides, is characterised by high tensile strength, low specific weight and great resistance to cuts and impacts.
For all these reasons, it is also in great demand for use in industrial kitchens and the food industry, where comfort and the ability to repeatedly handle hot objects are key to working safely.
In addition, this type of fibre retains most of its physical properties even after exposure to high temperatures, thus ensuring a longer life of the glove and, consequently, offering greater cost savings and less waste.
So what are the advantages of wearing the S5MK/18 heat-resistant glove?
- Triple thermal insulation
 - High heat protection
 - Cut-resistant protection
 - Comfort
 - Increased durability
 - Less waste
