We&#8217;re here to guide you in <strong>reading COVAL Safety product labels.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Rules for reading III Category labels<\/h2>\n<p>Here are the <strong>rules to keep in mind<\/strong> when reading a Category III PPE label.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The marking must be placed on the PPE in a <strong>visible, legible and indelible way<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The marking <strong>must be followed by the identification number of the Notified Body<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Remember to always check that the reference standards are those in force and that they are not replaced editions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>What cannot be missing in the marking of III Category PPE<\/h2>\n<p>It is important that the marking be marked with:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1_ The full address of the manufacturer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>2_ The category of the PPE<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>3_ The traceability of the product (production batch)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the image below you will find indicated all the <strong>mandatory points<\/strong> for a III Category marking:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.covalsafety.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/31-08-ETICHETTA-2.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6211 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.covalsafety.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/31-08-ETICHETTA-2-300x249.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"249\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.covalsafety.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/31-08-ETICHETTA-2-300x249.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.covalsafety.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/31-08-ETICHETTA-2-1024x851.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.covalsafety.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/31-08-ETICHETTA-2-768x638.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.covalsafety.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/31-08-ETICHETTA-2-800x665.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.covalsafety.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/31-08-ETICHETTA-2.jpg 1300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>CE marking, which indicates the conformity of a product, is the visible consequence of a whole process that includes conformity assessment.<\/p>\n<p>In this process, <strong>manufacturers are responsible for verifying that their products meet EU safety, health and security requirements.<\/strong> It is then the manufacturer&#8217;s obligation to issue the EU Declaration of Conformity and apply the CE mark to the product.<br \/>\nThen the product can be marketed anywhere within the European Economic Area.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, in order to ensure the quality of PPE, <strong>each manufacturer must refer to the current legislation on applying the CE marking<\/strong>, namely <strong>REGULATION (EU) 2016\/425.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you would like to know more please contact us on <a href=\"mailto:info@covalsafety.com\">info@covalsafety.com<\/a> and we will give you all the information.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Do you want to offer your customers not only the best PPE, but also all-around regulatory advice?
