Aramid heat-resistant gloves S1TK
item: S1TK
Aramid heat-resistant gloves in cotton-lined fabric. They are resistant to contact heat up to 350°C, according to EN 407 for thermal hazards, like all other heat-resistant gloves available from Coval Safety.
They are ideal for handling hot objects, the catering industry, metal processing and foundry work.
All workers in these sectors are confronted with the dangers of high temperatures on a daily basis. This Italian-designed glove complies with all European standards and is one of the solutions that Coval Safety provides for those who handle objects up to 350°C: contact heat is extremely dangerous for people and only a pair of high-quality aramid heat-resistant gloves guarantees that the worker can work safely.
Attention is also given to handling and design, which compared to the competition allows Coval Safety to position itself as a leader in the aramid heat resistant glove niche.
The aramid fibre from which these gloves are made was the first organic fibre used as reinforcement in advanced composites with sufficiently high elastic modulus and strength.
The fabric of these heat-resistant gloves has much better mechanical properties than steel and glass fibres for the same weight. Aramid fibres are inherently heat and flame resistant, and retain these properties at high temperatures. Aramid fibres have been widely used in armour, vehicle armour, military helmets and fireproof suits for firefighters.
