The V3KAF aluminized jacket, with an inner lining made of flame-retardant cotton, is designed to provide reliable protection during work activities involving high exposure to heat.
It is suitable for protecting the wearer against accidental flames, radiant heat and molten metal splashes.
The main strength of this garment lies in the combination of aluminized fabric and flame-retardant cotton.
The outer aluminized layer helps reflect radiant heat and reduce the wearer’s exposure to heat sources, while the inner flame-retardant cotton lining provides softness, comfort and an improved fit.
This construction combines the protective properties of aluminized fabric with greater comfort against the body.
The aluminized fabric is also designed to provide effective external protection without excessively restricting freedom of movement.
The flame-retardant cotton lining further enhances the protective properties of the jacket, making it suitable for activities requiring prolonged use.
The stand-up collar and front closure provide greater coverage of the body and neck, while the seams made with Kevlar thread offer high resistance to heat and tearing, increasing the overall reliability of the garment.
The V3KAF is particularly suitable for foundries and metalworking, the glass industry and cement plants, as well as other industrial environments subject to intense thermal stress.
The garment achieves F2 performance for contact heat resistance according to EN ISO 11612:2015, providing a high level of protection during work activities involving high temperatures.
