Silicone-coated ambidextrous oven mitten, certified for contact with hot foodstuffs, fully lined and ergonomically designed.

Silitherm Cook gloves withstand contact heat up to 350°C according to EN 407 and are suitable for food contact. This means they are suitable for touching hot food without risk of contamination, repeatedly and without burns.

Inside the glove is a special coating that acts as a barrier against liquids and steam. Thanks to the coating, they do not become impregnated with oils and greases.

After use, they can be rinsed on the outside and re-used.

Their inner membrane acts as a barrier against heat and steam, keeping the operator’s hands dry, thus avoiding discomfort and skin irritation.

The glove’s extra long sleeve is also a detail that underlines the great attention paid to the worker: it allows hot pans and trays to be placed on the forearm, protecting them from burns and allowing the weight load to be distributed with greater grip.

The ambidextrous F2XKS/25 knob is ideal for those working in the Ho.Re.Ca sector and allows the air inside to act as an insulator: the same model produced with 5 fingers or with 2 fingers can have a slight difference in terms of thermal insulation, i.e. it delays the perception of heat more.

In addition, the grip is more suitable when there is a need to slip the glove on and off easily, during normal working activity or in an emergency.
